Last week Blue Plate hosted a wonderful event for Chicago’s top wedding consultants. We were very honored to design the invitation for them. Taking a cue from Ken Severin’s direction and Jesse’s ideas for decor from Botanicals we designed an invitation in shades of peacock blue and navy. We really wanted to do something special for the wedding consultants, so we personalized each invitation with the consultants name in hand calligraphy, to match the envelopes. Custom stamps with the Blue Plate logo completed the mailing perfectly! The evening was simply fabulous, from their signature peacok blue coctails to the absolutely amazing dinner menu from their Head Chef, Paul. Jesse outdid himself with the floral and event design, using thousands of peacock feathers and lots and lots of florals in shades of purple. The Ivy Room looked truly stunning. We finished off the paper details for them with tags for the seating cards and menus to match. Photography by Jai Girard.
